Supporting Juvenile Diabetes One Step at a Time
The Accountable Healthcare Staffing team from Boca Raton participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk.
JDRF One Walk has one goal: to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle—and it's serious and stressful to manage. There is nothing you can do to prevent T1D and there is currently no cure. Team Accountable supports the Research needed to help find better ways to manage and even one day a cure.
We had a great turnout for a great cause. In addition, it was a beautiful day and a great way to get moving and adding 2 miles of walking.
