My name is Kayla Sayenga and I’ve been a Recruiter with the National Corrections Division since 2020. I’m 26 and have two boys who are 4 and 2, they’re my pride and joy! My husband and I have been married for 7 years and live in Louisville KY!! In our free time, we like to spend as much time outside as we can- swimming, taking park trips, and enjoying time with our family.

I‘ve always been interested in the medical field and previously worked as an MA. Since becoming a Recruiter, I’ve continued to grow my knowledge and adapt to new situations in this ever-changing and wild environment we call Correctional Travel Nursing! Getting to know and help so many great nurses who care for such a uniquely diverse community is one of the most challenging yet rewarding things I’ve ever done.

All that being said, I wouldn’t be where I am without the teamwork that we demonstrate within our division. Being a part of a team that pours into you and pushes you to be the best is really a rare and amazing thing, at least in my experience. I look forward to what the rest of 2023 and the years ahead have in store for us!
