In our latest Behind the Scenes with Accountable feature, we’re excited to introduce Brandy Moore, a dedicated Billing Coordinator and Payroll team member who has been an essential part of our organization since 2021. Brandy’s role involves managing payroll and billing for various facilities, researching discrepancies, and ensuring that her team is well-versed in the billing and dispute processes.

Brandy joined Accountable Healthcare Staffing a little over three years ago, motivated by the company’s values, which she felt aligned closely with her own. The positive atmosphere and strong sense of teamwork, even in a remote work environment, drew her to the company. She also appreciated the opportunities Accountable provides for employees to build their skills and grow from within, something that has resonated with her love for learning and embracing challenges.

With 23 years of experience in various accounting roles, Brandy brings a wealth of knowledge to her position. Her diverse background includes work in payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and even Human Resources and Benefits Administration. She’s also held the unique role of Maintenance Administrator at a manufacturing plant, where she planned preventative maintenance, managed inventory control, and even operated a forklift!

Outside of work, Brandy is all about family and outdoor adventures. She loves spending time with her two children and grandson, and you’ll often find her enjoying activities that involve water, sunshine, or live music. Traveling, camping, and attending concerts are some of her favorite pastimes, and she credits her love of music to growing up listening to her dad play guitar and sing.

Brandy’s journey is one of resilience and strength. As a single mom and a cancer survivor, she’s deeply motivated to be the best she can be, driven by her faith and the desire to make a positive impact on those around her.

When it comes to her job, Brandy thrives on being challenged. She enjoys the problem-solving aspect of researching billing discrepancies and finding ways to improve workflow efficiency. But what she values most is the people she works with. Brandy believes that co-workers can make all the difference in a job, and she feels incredibly blessed to be part of such a supportive and talented team.
