In our ongoing Behind the Scenes with Accountable series, we are delighted to introduce Elaine Byrd, a dedicated Payroll Coordinator who has been an integral part of the Accountable Healthcare team for nearly 20 years. Elaine's primary responsibilities include ensuring that everyone is paid accurately and on time and that all clients are billed correctly.

Elaine's journey with Accountable Healthcare began after the company acquired Horizons Medical Staffing, where she worked in payroll and accounts payable/receivable for 13 years. This extensive experience has made her an invaluable asset to our team, and she is grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing colleagues.

Outside of work, Elaine enjoys spending her free time by the pool with a good book, surrounded by her family and her beloved puppy. She has a unique talent for cutting hair and dog grooming, a skill not many know about.

Elaine's favorite hobby is reading, especially books related to ocean life, and she loves watching the Discovery Channel to learn more about the mysteries of the Sea. Her favorite part of her job is ensuring everyone gets paid correctly and maintaining optimal efficiency in the payroll process. Elaine's dedication to accuracy and her quiet, helpful nature make her a cherished member of the Accountable Healthcare family.
