Accountable’s Travel Team volunteers at Local Vocational Work Center

Accountable’s amazing team of Travel Recruiters volunteered at Achieve. Achieve is a non-profit organization serving more than 600 adults with severe intellectual, physical, and/or mental health disabilities in Dallas County. They offer two primary programs: Community Employment Placement and Work Center/Vocational Training which help to provide independence and employment for members of the program. The Accountable Team and Achievers (clients) worked side by side with packaging, assembly, and other fulfillment work for companies which make products or provide services you have most likely used. Every weekday, more than 150 adults with disabilities (Achievers) are enrolled in the Work Center/Vocational Training Program “Our team loved working with the Achievers. It is such a great organization and fulfills a real need for both the Achievers and the companies that receive the packages. The Clients love coming to work because they gain a sense of purpose in life and develop confidence,” said Adam Williams President Travel Division Accountable Healthcare Staffing.  In addition to being paid for the work performed, clients participate in social activities, life skills classes, and strive to reach personalized goals every month. The Achievers love coming to work because they gain a sense of purpose in life, develop confidence and feel productive.
