In our Behind the Scenes with Accountable series, we highlight the incredible individuals who bring their expertise, heart, and dedication to our team. This time, we’re proud to feature Jessica Chavez, our Director of Quality Management.

Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Accountable Healthcare. With more than 19 years of Perioperative nursing experience, she has built her career in hospitals of all sizes across the U.S. and abroad. Her journey also includes over 20 years of distinguished military service as an Army Veteran, where she honed her skills, discipline, and passion for patient care.

Before joining Accountable two years ago, Jessica served in a variety of critical roles, including Medical/Surgical and Operating Room staff nurse, nurse manager of Operating Rooms, Post Anesthesia Care Units, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers, as well as Chief Nurse for the Department of Surgery. She even spent time as a school nurse. These diverse experiences shaped her into a quality-focused and efficiency-driven leader, well-versed in Joint Commission standards, compliance, performance improvement, and patient safety.

Outside of work, Jessica cherishes time with her husband and kids, making family her top priority when she’s not guiding our clinical operations. She also enjoys hiking, which allows her to combine her love of nature with her active lifestyle.

In her role at Accountable, Jessica is committed to bringing her expertise and passion to the forefront each day. She finds fulfillment in knowing her contributions support the continuous growth and success of the company, and she is proud to be a part of the clinical team that makes Accountable such a strong and supportive partner for healthcare professionals.
