We’re excited to share the latest feature in our Behind the Scenes with Accountable series, highlighting Jackson Elsey from our School Division. Jackson brings energy, adaptability, and a strong sense of connection to his role as a Recruiter for the School Division. Recently promoted from Candidate Sourcing Specialist, he now spends his time connecting with candidates, assessing their fit for open positions, and working closely with BDMs to help match them to their right assignments. Whether managing outreach or collaborating with the team, Jackson thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.

His journey with Accountable began as a summer intern in the Travel Division. After graduating from Oklahoma State, he rejoined the company full-time, drawn to the healthcare industry through personal connections. Both of his parents work in the field, and he saw early on how fulfilling and challenging it could be. Today, he finds purpose in helping place professionals in classrooms that truly need them.

Growing up, Jackson lived in many parts of Oklahoma, attending different schools and learning how to connect with people from all backgrounds. That flexibility shows in his work. Before joining Accountable, he built experience in inside sales, digital and social media marketing, and even pest control, which sharpened his communication skills and confidence across a variety of situations.

Outside of work, Jackson enjoys camping with family and friends, attending stand-up comedy shows, and following Oklahoma State wrestling, especially during the Big 12 championships in Tulsa. He’s also a huge fan of Thai food, particularly massaman curry, which he eats several times a week. One of his travel goals is to visit Thailand and try it the authentic way. When it comes to movies, Dances with Wolves tops his list; he’s seen it over 60 times.

What Jackson enjoys most about his job is the social aspect and the pace. He loves talking to new people, helping candidates through the process, and staying engaged throughout the day. The steady rhythm and variety keep things interesting and rewarding.
